Nordic Walking week commencing 24th December, 2018
Hi Walkers,
Well I have had a lot of Christmas dinners already with all my various Nordic Walking groups and I’ve had a blast! Thanks to all of you who came along to the Christmas meals and made it so much fun. Also thanks to all the walkers who came along to the Christmas Quiz & Chips on Saturday. I really appreciate the lovely gift card you all contributed to so, thanks everyone.
MY PERSONAL CHALLENGE FOR 2019
Some of you may know that I’ve signed up to do the London Marathon on April 28th, 2019. I am running for a Charity called Ability Bow which is a small charity in London. The money I raise will go towards helping them continue the wonderful work they do in encouraging and supporting people will long term health conditions to stay active. I will be doing several walking challenges for you all with the aim of raising funds for this fab charity!
I will provide you with a list of our walking challenges in the new year.
I have set up a charity page where all the funds from the walk challenges will go: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Elaine.Milne
Thanks x
