Nordic Walks week commencing 14th November, 2016
Hi Walkers,
We had a great week of walks last week and it is great to welcome some new walkers: Martin, Hilary, Sharon, Paul, Cinthea, Margaret and Jan. Yay!
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If I have to cancel any walks due to bad weather I will send out an email around 45 minutes prior to a class, but the latest info will always be on the website: www.walk2fitness.co.uk Always check before you leave in dodgy conditions, just in case.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH
So as mentioned in a previous email, our main Christmas lunch is on the 5th December this year at Noon at The Chequers in Westoning. I have around 7 places left for this and just in case any of the Cranfield group thought it would be cutting it too tight after their walk on that Monday to make it to the lunch, I am changing the start time on that day to 9:30am. For all my walkers, if you are interested in coming along, please let me know by the 21st November. A £10 deposit is needed by then. Nom Nom!
Our Nordic Festive Walking & Social Event is on the 3rd December this year with a 10k walk starting at 9:30am and a 5K (what you all usually walk on a Saturday) starting at 10am. All Gentle Walkers can start at 9:45am. All coming together at the end at The Hub café where there will be mince pies and mulled wine. On this day, Festive head wear is encouraged!
