Nordic Walking week commencing 10th July, 2017
Hi Nordic Walkers,
The new 2018 Ampthill Park Calendar is now available to buy for £5 from the Hub café. One of my Nordic Walking photo’s was chosen to be in the calendar this year so if you’d like one, you can either grab one from the Hub or I will be getting a bunch too! Awesome stuff!
TWO MOORS HERITAGE TRAIL WALK –
Saturday 15th July at 11:30pm. NEW START MEET POINT is at The Crown Pub, Station Road, in Flitwick, MK45 1LA. Please Book on if you are interested in coming. This historical trail is 5 miles and entirely flat. Yay!
Children’s Nordic Walking
As some of you may know I recently attained a new qualification in teaching Nordic Walking to children. I am hoping to encourage families to get out together to exercise and enjoy the outdoors and will be doing a few events in the summer. Starting with a Family Fun Week run by Ampthill Town Council from 24th to 28th July with lots of fun activities going on. I will be doing Friday 28th between 2pm and 4pm. Please let me know if you’re interested. Thanks.
Parkinson’s & MS
I have been asked to do a 4 week course by Parkinson’s UK and the MS Society starting on Wednesday September 6th. If you know anyone who you think would like to come along and give Nordic Walking a try, please let me know. Nordic Walking is proven to help people with these conditions tremendously.

OUR PAULA
She’s done it again! Paula took part in the Cardiff 10k as part of the 2017 Challenge Series run by British Nordic Walking. She is defending her title from last year and doing an amazing job. She was First lady and just 20 seconds off the first placed man! Well done Paula, keep up the great pace. You do us proud!
Have a Great week all of you! Stay cool!
Many thanks,
Elaine
