Hi Walkers,
A Big Well Done to the Memory Walk participants who were all mainly Gentle Plus walkers and who kept up a fantastic pace throughout. It was a great atmosphere and before the walk we did something that resembled Zumba which was quite amusing! Kevin Whately was the Celebrity Guest who got the race started and he called our Nordic Poles “Ski Sticks” which I soon corrected him on!
Also, I must congratulate too, our Mod Plus walker Paula who completed the Swindon 10K in an amazing 74 minutes and 49 seconds. Wow! Great Job Paula.

POP UP FRIDAY WALK
This week we will be doing a POP UP walk in Bromham. This walk is about 3.5 miles and relatively flat. Enjoy the wonderful north Bedfordshire countryside with panoramic views and a Beautiful Windmill. Please book by 8pm Thursdayevening. Cost – £5
I will be unable to do the Wednesday evening Moderate Plus walk at 6pm this week as I am in London, but the Moderate class at 6pm will be going ahead with Gordon . If you are a Mod Plus Walker and still wish to walk on Wednesday evening, still let me know and I can let you know if others are coming too. This way you won’t miss out on your workout. Thanks guys.
Have a brilliant week!
Many thanks,
Elaine
