Nordic Walks week commencing 31st October, 2016
Hi Walkers,
What a busy but Fun week we’ve had with Half marathons, Pub walks and Socials!
Well done to Paula W, Helen, Kathy T, Tracey B, Denise and Jean H for completing a tough Half Marathon on Thursday in Woburn! Fab effort from all of you.
Our pub walk yesterday was a real treat with awesome views and great company! The yummy lunch was a nice interval before heading back to Barton. Thank to all of you who came along.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
I’m organising a 10k and 5k Nordic Walking event on December 3rd at Ampthill Park. Festive Headwear is a must! The 10K will begin at 9:30am and the 5K at 10am. There will be mince Pies and mulled wine at the Hub following the walks along with festive music. I will give you more details later but put the date in your diaries now so you don’t miss it! It should be great fun! Yay!
Hope you all have great walks this week and remember to take in the beautiful Autumn countryside. It’s a wonderful time of year to be outside!
Thanks,
Elaine
