Week commencing 23rd October 2017

Nordic Walking week commencing 23rd October, 2017

Hi Walkers,

The darker evenings mean we will be stopping our classes on Wednesday nights but this class will be returning again in the Spring along with our High Intensity Training Class. Thanks to all those walkers who have attended these classes this past year.

We have some more recent graduates and some just about to complete their Technique Course, they are: Lesley, William, Frances, Kath, Gill and Judy.  Well done to you all and so happy you will be joining us on our walks.  Please remember if you decide to buy your own poles, to make sure they are Nordic Walking Poles and not Trekking poles. I am happy to help you if you have any questions. Thanks.

June’s Christmas Craft Sale – Thursday 26th October

It’s that time of year again when June opens her home for us to peruse her wonderful handmade quilting gifts to buy. As many of you know, June makes the most amazing gifts with such exquisite detail, they really are unique. There will also be Tea/coffee and homemade cakes for a small donation.  I have arranged for us to have our walk from Biddenham Pavilion on Thursday as it’s only a few mere steps to June’s from there.  This will be a flat walk and paws will be needed.  Yipee!

CHRISTMAS LUNCH – 14th December – The Chequers Pub, Westoning

I have four seats left for our Christmas lunch, so if you’re interested in coming along, please let me know as soon as possible.  I will need a £10 deposit too.  I will be sending out the Menu soon for your choices. Thanks.
