Nordic Walking week commencing 23rd January, 2017

Hi Nordic Walkers,

So yes, it was a miserable Monday last week but boy the rest of the week was awesome and I went nuts taking pics as I couldn’t help myself! Being outdoors this time of year is just amazing as you all see when you join me each week. A frosty clear day is my favourite kind of walking weather because within a few mins Nordic Walking we’re all warm and chatting up a storm! Burning a bunch of calories and working the old lungs and heart out too, so let’s hope we get more of the same this week and the rest of the Winter too!

NORDIC SOCIAL
We’re doing another Nordic Social on February 7th at The Green Man in Clophill. If any of you are interested in coming for some Din Dins, please let me know by Friday. Many thanks.

NORDIC WALKING CLASS COSTS:

All evening classes – £5
Moderate & Gentle Plus – £5 or £4 if you have your own Poles
Moderate Plus & Gentle – £5
Long Distance and Pop Up walks costs dependent on Distance.
Private Sessions: £12.50

SPEED GRADING KEY:

1 = Moderate Plus (for the faster Nordic Walker, optional Hill running)

2 = Moderate (yet challenging)

3 = Gentle Plus (smidge slower than Moderate yet invigorating)

4 = Gentle (marginally slower than G+ class but energizing)

5 = HIT Nordic (Nothing but Hills. Tough and exhilarating!)
