Week commencing 29 April 2019

Nordic Walks commencing 29th April, 2019

What a treat the walks were this week!  The Bluebells were stunning and we enjoyed both the Thrift at Cranfield and Kings Wood.   The Bluebells should last at least another week so make sure you get a glimpse before they go!  We were also treated to a lovely meadow of Cow Slips on our Pop Up walk.

GREENSAND COUNTRY FESTIVAL WALKS
A reminder that the Greensand Country Festival begins in May!  Book on via the website or text/email me if you’re interested in attending any of these walks.  Thank you.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
Our Wednesday evening class is for Mod 1 and Mod 2 paced walkers.  We will split the group into two so those wanting a pace a smidgen slower pace than Mod 1 and not as many hills can come along and enjoy this great class at Mod 2 pace.  Those wanting a fast thrill ride, can come along for Mod 1. Yay!  See you there 😊

HIIT
There will be no HIIT class this week.  Returning on the 9th May. Thanks

A QUICK REMINDER TO TRY TO GET TO CLASSES AT LEAST 5 MINS BEFORE THE START.  THIS ENABLES US TO COLLECT THE MONEY AND GET A FULL SESSION IN WITHOUT HOLDING UP THE GROUPS.  THANK YOU EVERYONE.

TECHNIQUE
This week I noticed a few sneaky bad habits that have crept into some of the techniques especially bending elbows!  So I think it’s time for a couple of my Technique Workshops which I’ll be holding on the 18th May and June 8th at 11am in the West Car Park.  We will concentrate on the arm swing and extension as well as spinal rotation.   These Workshops will last 30 minutes and are Free. Thanks!
The weather is unpredictable again this week, so remember your light raincoat!
Have a fantastic week everyone!
Many thanks,
Elaine
